8th Grade Star of the Week
A d e y e m i s i R.
Last week I met with some of our 8th grade parents to discuss the dance. We are very excited to help lead a fun-filled dance to our 8th graders. Please be on the look out for more information on what the role of each one of you will be. All parent volunteers will have a designated station to be in charge of, once the dance is over all of the parents and students are asked to help clean up so we can go home at an early time.
Students took their graduation photos on Tuesday. All of them looked spectacular! LifeTouch will be sending the proofs home soon so you can order pictures if you choose to do so.
Here are a few updates for the next coming weeks:
Date and time: Saturday, February 2nd 5:30-9:00
Students and parents will be expected to be at the gym by 5:30. Students will have a chance to eat pizza and relax a little bit before starting to serve the tables. The 8thgrade will keep all the tips they collect in a jar and all the credit will be distributed evenly among the students that are present. Ms. Bolanos and Mrs. Gioukaris will be the two parent coordinators in charge.
In the past, students have made about $1500. If a student and parent are not present, there will be a $56 charge.*
Student of the month assembly. The winners of the science project will also be announced at this time.
Valentine's Day Social
This is NOT a noon dismissal. Please be on the lookout for more information to come.
