N a t a l i a G. I am happy to give Adeyemisi the shamrock award for being an all around wonderful student. I have chosen Yemisi for the recipient of Student of the Month this time around because she exemplifies what a SHAMROCK should be. She lives her faith, she serves others, she is a life-long learner, and she is a person of integrity. Yemisi is a wonderful role model to her classmates as well as the younger members of the St. John community. She treats classmates and teachers with respect and models the golden rule. Everything she does is done with poise. Yemisi is looked up to by her peers as they, too, appreciate her leadership. She stays focused in class, even when distractions arise. She takes ownership of her learning and is quick to ask clarifying questions when something doesn’t make sense. Yemisi is a person who serves others daily through student council and offers to help when classmates or teachers can use a helping hand. Above all, she is somebody I can count on to do the right thing, whether or not there are witnesses. Congratulations on this award Yemisi, I admire you!
